We are an Australian Made, Designed and Owned Baby and Children’s Clothing Brand specialising in newborns up to 2 years old. Bunny & Doll is where Luxury meets Practicality. Our clothing features unique and exclusive designs inspired by the wonder and beauty of the Australian Bush. 

 

Each print is inspired by our owner, Susie, and the land on which she lives in Blackall, Queensland. We share the story of how each print design is brought to life through nature, such as the banks of a river, swaying gums or blooming bush flowers. These stories are shared on our garment labels so that you can learn where and how the unique print came to be created. Our clothing has a key focus on Australiana flora and fauna.

 

We offer baby basics that stand out with unique prints that are practical for everyday wear and going out. Bunny and Doll have a vast range of clothing, including rompers, zip suits, short and long-sleeved bodysuits, shorts, bloomers, leggings, swaddles, and headbands. We have all your needs covered with an entire range where you can mix and match and rotate clothing at your leisure. 

 

 

Bunny & Doll clothing is known for being a conversation starter, standing out in the crowd and offering sophisticated style in children’s clothing. We have fast become a coveted fashion collector item due to the uniqueness and limited-edition prints.  

 

Our clothing is purposefully designed to be practical that makes getting ready easy. Change times can be done in a pram, on a mat, in the car or parent room that’s effortless by quickly providing access to the bottom-end and not having to undress fully. All our clothing is made from organic jersey, which is cool, breathable and comfortable. The organic jersey allows room to move and doesn’t scratch or irritate the skin of little ones.

 

Bunny & Doll clothing is easy to care for and washes well in a machine wash. It’s essential that baby and children’s clothing is safe to ensure there’s no nasties, chemicals or reaction to your loved one’s skin which is why we only high-quality organic cotton.

From our family to yours, welcome! I’m Susie Picone, owner of Bunny & Doll, Wife to Phil and Mum to Archer, Alfred and Lila. I was raised on a mixed operation merino wool/beef cattle station 80km outside of Tambo, Queensland. Though I’ve lived in the city while at boarding school, home is where the heart is, and we are proud to call Blackall home. 

 

I hold a Bachelor of Agribusiness and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Animal Science). Before Bunny & Doll, I worked as a ruminant nutritionist for a stockfeed company. Living and working on the land coupled with my education in agriculture has fuelled my passion for quality, natural fabrics.

 

Early in my first pregnancy, I was driving on my Grandparent’s property, checking waters and fixing fences when the idea of Bunny & Doll was born. My love for the Australian Bush and the connection that I have here has always stirred within me creativity and inspiration. The name Bunny & Doll is a tribute to my Great Grandmothers on each side of my family - Bernadette (Bunny) and Dorothy (Doll). The essence of my family and strong values run within all I do within my business.

 

When I had my first child, I found it challenging to find different baby clothing that was practical yet didn’t look like pyjamas, have typical baby prints, or are restricted to standard colours of pink, blue, white, and grey. My love for Australian flora and fauna inspires me daily and is at the heart of all Bunny & Doll designs. It propelled me to create exciting clothing for parents to dress their children in, yet it is also practical and wears well. What we see at Bunny & Doll headquarters in regional Australia is beautiful. The natural colours produced in the bush are awe-inspiring. 

 

Magic and wonder are all around us, and it is my pleasure to bring Bunny & Doll clothing to your home and family. I believe the threads and traditions of my family are weaved into Bunny & Doll garments by creating timeless and luxurious baby and children’s clothing that will be cherished for generations to come.
